Hello! My name is Marta Soppe-Navetta and I am the owner of Navetta Farm and Floral. 2025 will be my 4th year flower farming, and 3rd year as a florist.

I grew up in the high desert of northern New Mexico, but have lived in Oregon over 17 years. My husband grew up here, and we have been living in Newberg over 15 years. We love spending time outside with our kiddo and family. 

I grew up in flower gardens. My mom had a garden design business that I worked for from a young age. I loved spending my time digging in the soil and playing with flowers. Life started and I ended up spending over 20 years in the restaurant business, while tending to a home garden as often as possible.

Like so many, when the pandemic hit, I suddenly had hours of time on my hands and a need to do something other than sit with my thoughts. I had to step away from my high stress/long hour job and started gardening at home, setting up a small free flower and veggie stand for our neighbors.

This was the first slow down time I had for my entire life, and honestly I unraveled.  The longer I was away from the restaurant world, the more I was able to take a breath and choose what I wanted to do, rather what was needed. Digging in the dirt, growing flowers and vegetables helped me connect with my roots in a new healthy way and focus on what I can do with joy, even on the freezing cold mud covered days. 

Flowers are about joy, love and healing and I am honored to have the chance to share that with our community!

Navetta Farm and Floral flower fields are split between two family properties, both within half a mile of the Newberg city center. I am not open to the public yet, but will have flower stands up at both locations in time for summer 2025 blooms! I am planting about 1000 Dahlias for 2025 as well many other varieties of cut flowers. I use natural growing methods, focusing on soil health and long lasting blooms. 

I offer cut flowers to florists and the public; bunches, buckets, bouquets, special arrangements, events, bouquet bars and more. I would love to hear why you love flowers and how I can help you!
